Sherry Lopez- Scardino, a San Francisco native and owner of Skin Basics Studio attended Skyline College for her skincare training and received her Aesthetics license in May 2001.
She continues to further her education with courses to keep up with the ever changing world of skincare. Sherry's experience includes a short time at Benefit Cosmetics (SF- Chestnut Street location) where she learned the art of perfecting the brow and ignited her interest in makeup. 
She has worked in a local Day Spa where she was fortunate to mentor under a talented European Aesthetician. In 2003, Sherry opened her own studio in Burlingame and in Septmeber 2007, she moved to Chapin Avenue with her sister, Nancy, of De Colores Hair Studio. After a 6 year work break to raise her kids, she is back on a very part-time basis.
She believes that great skin begins with nutrition (inside out) and is maintained with knowledge of ingredients and professional grade products. Her personal interests include yoga and spending time with her family.
